Steven H. Erdman, MD, is an attending pediatric gastroenterologist at Nationwide Children’s and Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He also serves as Director of the Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellowship Program and supervises all educational activities for the GI Division. Dr. Erdman’s clinical and research interests focus on hereditary colorectal cancer, and polyposis syndromes in children and young adults. He is recognized as an expert on the use of double-balloon enteroscopy (DBE) as a therapeutic and diagnostic tool in the pediatric population. Dr. Erdman is past president of the Collaborative Group of the Americas on Inherited Colorectal Cancer (CGA-ICC), serves as the Administrative Director of the Collaborative Fund of the CGA, and is named among the “Best Doctors in America.”
