Cary’s expertise involves genetic counseling of individuals at risk for hereditary cancer. This includes using the family history to assess a person’s risk of developing cancer, understanding when genetic testing is appropriate and interpreting genetic test results. She is a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors.
Cary received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Colorado State University. She then completed a Master of Science in Biobehavioral Science from University of Connecticut, and then returned to Colorado for a Master of Science in Biophysics and Genetics.
