Cancer Patient support, FAP Survivor
San Antonio, Texas, United States
Eric Charsky is a Familial Adenomatous Polyposis (FAP) survivor, he was diagnosed at age 33 and had 26 polyps in his throat, five tumors in his stomach and thousands of polyps through the remainder of his digestive system.
Eric had a complete colectomy, gallbladder removal, the throat polyps were removed and the stomach tumors were left along with thousands of developing polyps. His Doctor performed a modified “J Series” which allows him to have somewhat normal bodily functions and still allows him to do all that he loves. He since had his ampulla of Vater removed and two more surgeries involving very precise instruments in small areas along with a tumor removed from his neck.
