The Cancer Institute NSW is Australia’s first statewide, government-funded cancer control agency. It was established under the Cancer Institute NSW (2003) Act to lessen the impact of cancer in NSW. The institute continuously works to reduce incidence of cancer in the community, increase the survival rate for patients with cancer, and improve their quality of life.
