The Center for hereditary tumor diseases provides treatment and counseling to families with familial and hereditary forms of tumors, families with increased risk for developing tumors, etc. These comprises hereditary bowel cancer without polyposis (HNPCC and Lynch syndrome), hereditary stomach cancer, and different-polyposis syndromes of the gastrointestinal tract. A multidisciplinary care at the center with medical disciplines is provided for hereditary tumor syndrome.
