source: VeryWell
year: 2016
authors: Amber J. Tresca
summary/abstract:The j-pouch procedure (for which the technical name is ileal pouch anal anastomosis, or IPAA) is major surgery and will require a significant recovery time, anywhere from six weeks on up.
